r/DivingTanks: In-Depth Experience with Mini Scuba Tank S400 After 3 Months
Posted by u/DiveExpert30 8 days ago Industry Certified Dive Instructor

I’ve been testing the SMACO Scuba Tank S400 in various diving conditions and scenarios for over three months, and heres my comprehensive take.

This 1L tank offers around 15 minutes of underwater breathability, which is relatively short but quite practical for shallow dives. I measured the pressure retention after three consecutive dives and found that it consistently held pressure well, dropping only to about 2500 Psi after extended usemuch better than some competing brands I’ve tested. The weight of 5.1 lbs makes it easy to carry, but I do recommend pairing it with their portable diving vest for stability.
